Fleet and Fuel was founded by Jon Mackney. Jon has worked in the fleet market for over 20 years, including 10 years as a Fleet Operations Manager, during which time he was awarded a DMS and MBA, both of which focused on Fleet.
More recently, he has worked for one of Europe’s top leasing and fleet management companies, where he led its UK consultancy team.
It is Jon’s view that the value of a fleet is only truly optimised when its operation is aligned with the key objectives of the business. Whilst the needs of each stakeholder (e.g. Driver, HR, Finance, Operations) may differ, organisations tend to share similar aims:
- Minimise cost
- Mitigate risk
- Satisfy operational requirements
- Support an organisation’s CSR policy
- Create a more appealing benefit for staff
Jon has helped many of Europe’s largest fleets achieve these objectives and aims to extend this support to fleets of all sizes, through Fleet and Fuel.
